A fantastic early twentieth century portrait by renowned Swedish artist John Jon-And (1889-1941).
Jon-And was one of Sweden's early proponents of the Modernist movement and a well-known figure in Swedish cultural life in the early part of the last century. 
A memorial exhibition was displayed at the National Museum in Stockholm in 1944 after his death in 1941.
John Jon-And is represented in many museum collections and played a central role in the history of Swedish modernism.
